We are hiring individuals who take a structured, agentic approach to solving real-world problems using modern, AI-enabled tools. This role is suited to people who are naturally curious, analytical, and motivated by understanding how things work. You will focus on breaking down complex problems, designing structured solutions, and iterating towards effective outcomes, working with both foundational technical concepts and AI-assisted workflows. This is not a traditional code-first development role. You will work closely with experienced architects and business analysts to translate business challenges into clear, structured solutions, including workflows, data flows, decision models, and specifications. You will operate within a modern, well-architected enterprise environment, leveraging AI-assisted platforms, low-code tooling, and data-centric systems such as Microsoft Copilot Studio / Power Platform / Power Automate and related ecosystems. Success in this role requires a disciplined, methodical mindset, the confidence to challenge assumptions, and a genuine interest in solving problems that have practical impact.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse business problems and translate them into structured solution approaches
- Create artefacts such as workflows, data flows, diagrams, decision trees, and pseudo code
- Use AI-assisted tools to explore, validate, and refine solutions in a controlled and structured way
- Critically assess AI-generated outputs, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and risks
- Apply logical, heuristic, and lateral thinking to iterate and improve solutions
- Work with core system concepts such as data structures, databases, caching, lookups, indexing, and integrations
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of problems and solutions
- Contribute to solution refinement, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement
- Operate effectively within structured delivery practices and quality standards
This role is best suited to individuals who:
- Prefer structured thinking over trial-and-error approaches
- Are comfortable working through ambiguity by applying logic and method
- Are motivated by continuous learning and improvement
- Take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution
- Balance discipline with adaptability when exploring solutions
This role is designed for individuals who may go on to become solution designers, technical leads, or architects over time. We do not expect deep technical expertise from day one. Instead, we value clarity of thought, structured problem solving, and the willingness to learn. You will be supported by experienced practitioners while developing your ability to:
- Understand complex systems
- Model processes and data flows
- Apply proven problem-solving approaches
- Work effectively with AI as part of solution delivery
- Background or strong interest in a structured or analytical discipline, such as science, engineering, mathematics, software, business systems, or similar
- Minimum A-Level or equivalent in an analytical subject; degree-level education is advantageous but not required
- Strong logical reasoning and problem decomposition skills
- Ability to express ideas clearly using diagrams, workflows, structured notes, or pseudo code
- Confidence communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Curiosity about how systems, data, and processes work
- Comfortable using AI tools, with the ability to question and validate their outputs
- Pragmatic mindset with a willingness to test ideas, learn quickly, and improve
You are not expected to have all of the above from day one. We are particularly interested in how you think and approach problems. Exposure to or awareness of the following concepts is beneficial, but not required.
Awareness of modern solution environments, including:- Low-code / no-code platforms and AI-assisted development tools
- Integration patterns using APIs, connectors, and event-driven architectures
- Microservices and distributed systems
- Data flows and messaging patterns
- Contract-based design and loosely coupled architectures
- Data modelling and data lifecycle
- Data governance and quality considerations
- Challenges around single source of truth and data consistency
Exposure to data platforms or analytics tools, such as data warehouses, reporting platforms, or semantic layers. Familiarity with modern enterprise platforms, such as Microsoft Copilot Studio / Power Platform / Power Automate or similar ecosystems. Understanding of structured delivery practices, such as SDLC, versioning, testing, and quality gates.
