What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to drive sales, increase customer acquisition, and improve conversion rates.
- Monitor website and app performance, identify areas for improvement, and work to implement solutions to enhance user experience and drive conversions.
- Manage all aspects of the e-commerce website, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and content updates.
- Assist in the management and publishing of website content, including product listings, images, and promotional materials.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rate, average order value, and customer retention, and take actions to optimize performance.
- Analyse sales data and customer behaviour to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, generating and contributing to regular reporting and trade meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and IT to execute campaigns and initiatives that drive traffic and sales, while driving site and app enhancements and new features.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure the smooth operation of the e-commerce business.
- Stay up-to-date on e-commerce technologies, platforms, and tools, and make recommendations for enhancements and improvements.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leaders on e-commerce performance, opportunities, and challenges.
What you’ll be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably in a retail or consumer goods industry.
- Strong understanding and experience with website management, content management systems (CMS), and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
- Proficiency in digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Utilise analytics tools to track and analyse traffic, user behaviour, and performance metrics.
- Demonstrable experience of leading and developing a team.
