The Role

The Property Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and service delivery across a portfolio of properties. This role ensures that all facilities are safe, compliant, cost-efficient, and maintained to a high standard, while delivering a positive experience for colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

  • Facilities Operations
    • Supervise daily facilities management activities across assigned properties.
    • Ensure all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety) are operating effectively.
    • Coordinate planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules and reactive repairs.
    • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure Health & Safety, quality and compliance.
  • Contractor & Supplier Management
    • Manage third-party contractors, service providers, and suppliers.
    • Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Review contractor performance and ensure work is delivered on time and within budget.
    • Support procurement processes including tendering and contract negotiations.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation and building regulations.
    • Conduct risk assessments and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
    • Maintain records for inspections, certifications, and statutory compliance.
    • Lead incident reporting and investigation processes.
  • Colleagues & Stakeholder Management
    • Act as the primary point of contact for colleagues’ queries related to facilities.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive service delivery.
    • Coordinate moves, and project works where required.
    • Communicate effectively with internal clients and contractors.
  • Financial & Administrative Management
    • Assist in managing facilities budgets and controlling operational costs.
    • Review invoices, approve expenditures, and track maintenance spend.
    • Prepare reports on facilities performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Team Supervision
    • Supervise in-house and outsourced facilities staff (technicians, cleaners, security where applicable).
    • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback.
    • Act as the central point of contact for all facilities-related requests across flagship stores (London, Newcastle, Manchester, Glasgow and Milan), London headquarters and the distribution centre in Washington.

Who we’re looking for

  • Solid understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Financial awareness and budget management capability.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in facilities management, property management, or a similar role.
  • Experience supervising teams and managing contractors.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Technical background (engineering, building services, or similar) is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and facilities management practices.
  • Based across multiple property sites (as required).
  • May require occasional out-of-hours response for emergencies.
  • Combination of office-based and on-site operational work.
