The Role
The Supervisor is responsible for driving sales and supporting management with the day-to-day operations of the store. The Supervisor will ensure that the team is sales focused and delivers a highly professional, exceptional level of customer service at all times. The supervisor will deputise for the Manager and Assistant Manager in their absence.
Responsibilities
- Personally driving sales, offering exceptional customer service, and building a personal client list.
- Supervising and guiding the sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Leading the team in excellence of service by displaying exemplary service techniques.
- Deputising for the Manager / Assistant Manager in their absence in all aspects of their role.
- Maintaining familiarity with the store operations and the processes behind all services and procedures.
- Supporting the Manager and Assistant Manager in training to ensure the full team is equipped with knowledge relevant to the industry and the products END. represents.
- Maintaining awareness of security issues at all times.
- Identifying opportunities and initiatives to continually improve performance and communicating them to the Store Manager.
- Ensuring the store image aligns with business standards by conducting floor walks, maintaining product and merchandising standards, utilizing floorplans, replenishing stock, and following VM guidelines.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
Qualifications & What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge of processes, procedures and systems relevant to the role, with capability to work autonomously within defined parameters.
- Understanding of how the team collaborates with other departments to achieve objectives.
- Ability to provide on-the-job training and support for new team members; may allocate resources and coordinate tasks; may act as coach/mentor.
- Ability to evaluate options, plan and monitor work within deadlines, and produce routine reports from standard templates.
- Direct impact on customer experience and team performance through the quality of tasks performed.
- Good verbal and written communication with colleagues and customers.
