The Role:
The Collaborations Graphic Designer will work closely with the Collaborations Team to create of a range graphics and presentation documents with the Senior Collaborations Design Manger to embody the voice of END. through rich design and captivating story telling.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
- Develop collaborative graphics with brand partners from concept to final production.
- Produce documents to communicate design concepts, including multiple options and details as necessary in both 2D and 3D where needed.
- Present design / concept boards to communicate ideas around projects.
- Create original artwork that enhances design concepts and tells stories to the consumer.
- Work with the business and brand partners to understand market needs and design to product briefs.
- Be aware of key deadlines and launch dates to ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Work on multiple projects at various stages in the process, ensuring the smooth movement of workflow through the product design process.
- Keep abreast of fashion market trends, graphic design trends and consumer needs.
- Create and maintain all art files and presentation documents.
- Select colour, type and create original artworks used in product graphic designs and understand the impact of choices on costing and overall design aesthetic.
- Create full suite art files and other materials to hand-off to brand partners for sample manufacturing.
- Attend and contribute in design and sample review sessions.
- Meet calendar deadlines and deliverables.
- Create engaging presentations in Keynote that are used to sell brand partners on our ideas.
Who we’re looking for:
- Expert understanding of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Keynote.
- Good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks. Knowledge can be acquired through a combination of job-related training and considerable on- the-job experience.
- Operates within a defined role, with some autonomy in how tasks are delivered.
- Good understanding of how the team integrates and collaborates with other teams to achieve overall objectives of the department.
- Understands procedures and has the capability to evaluate and select the appropriate alternatives from defined options and plans and monitors own work within agreed deadlines.
- Responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of own work.
- Produces routine reports and other documents from standard templates.
- Performs a range of activities in a variety of structured environments.
- Works well within a positive and collaborative skill-sharing environment.
- Direct impact on customer experience and team performance through the quality of the tasks performed or services provided.
- Good verbal and written communication with colleagues and/or customers.
