Responsibilities:
- Collect refuse and recycling daily, using all machinery aspects of the job.
- Undertake all duties in a professional manner, deploying safe lifting and handling techniques.
- Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed.
- Complete relevant paperwork in real time.
- Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use.
- Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
- Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users.
Working Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (no more than 6 points).
- Driver CPC.
- Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Willingness to undertake tasks.
- Clean driver licence desirable for all staff.
