Responsibilities:

  • Collect refuse and recycling daily, using all machinery aspects of the job.
  • Undertake all duties in a professional manner, deploying safe lifting and handling techniques.
  • Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed.
  • Complete relevant paperwork in real time.
  • Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
  • Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users.

Working Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Qualifications:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (no more than 6 points).
  • Driver CPC.
  • Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Willingness to undertake tasks.
  • Clean driver licence desirable for all staff.
