Today, END. serves over 2 million customers worldwide through a seamless blend of online and physical retail. Our industry-leading stores in Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, London, and Milan reflect our commitment to innovation, influence, and inspiration. We offer a carefully curated selection of menswear, womenswear, sneakers, homeware, and lifestyle products to a global audience. At the heart of END. is our customer and it’s our people and culture that make the difference. With over 600 employees across our HQ, offices, and retail locations, our customer-first mindset continues to guide everything we do.

The Role: As Dynamics 365 F&O Platform Engineer, you will own the reliability, performance, security, and lifecycle management of our Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment, acting as the technical bridge between the D365 functional/business teams and the underlying Azure infrastructure. You will be responsible for environment management, deployment governance, platform monitoring, release management, and integration health across F&O and connected systems, ensuring the platform is stable, secure, resilient, and ready to support the business.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

  • Manage D365 F&O environments through Lifecycle Services (LCS) — sandbox refreshes, environment provisioning, and configuration
  • Own environment upgrades and quality updates, ensuring platform releases are tested and applied without disrupting business operations
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git (replacing Team Foundation Version Control) for F&O, including X++ build automation and package deployment
  • Automate solution/package deployments across environments
  • Manage source control, branching, versioning, and release processes
  • Monitor and troubleshoot F&O performance issues, including batch jobs, SQL/Azure SQL performance, and overall environment health
  • Develop proactive monitoring, alerting, and operational documentation, driving continuous improvement through automation
  • Manage data integrations between F&O and downstream systems (e.g. Shopify Plus, Patchworks, or equivalent middleware)
  • Manage D365 environment refreshes and data movement
  • Own and manage storage reduction across the D365 environment estate
  • Support month-end/quarter-end processing windows and coordinate planned maintenance
  • Own access governance and security roles within F&O
  • Act as escalation point for P1/P2 incidents affecting finance/operations systems
  • Drive improvements to developer environments, using Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC) Dev Boxes in place of traditional VMs
  • Maintain clear documentation of environment configuration, releases, and incident resolutions
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and a consistently high standard of service

Who we’re looking for:

  • Hands-on experience administering D365 F&O via Lifecycle Services (environment management, deployments, hotfix/package application)
  • Working knowledge of X++ and the F&O build pipeline (Azure DevOps, Git-based repositories)
  • Experience managing source control, branching strategies, and release processes using Git
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dev Box / Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC) for developer environment provisioning
  • Strong Azure fundamentals — Azure SQL, storage, networking, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics
  • Experience with storage management and cost/storage reduction initiatives within Azure/D365 environments
  • Experience with F&O data integration patterns (OData, DIXF, or middleware such as Patchworks/Logic Apps)
  • Incident management and on-call experience in a live ERP environment
  • Understanding of finance/operations business processes, sufficient to triage functional vs technical issues
  • Strong communication skills, able to work with both technical and business stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Prior Shopify Plus or retail/ecommerce integration experience
  • Microsoft certifications (MB-500, MB-700, or Azure equivalents)
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Application Insights
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or Terraform) is advantageous

Besides a competitive salary and an engaging and inclusive workplace we can offer you:

  • 30 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Flexible working
  • 40 Hours per week - Monday to Friday
  • Holiday trading (Buy or sell 3 days)
  • Your birthday off
  • Access to Employee Assistance Programme
  • Healthcare Cashback Plan
  • Moments that matter gifts (Weddings and Babies)
  • A pension that both you and the company contribute to
  • Generous staff discount
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression
  • And so much more…

We know that great talent comes in many forms. So even if you don’t meet every single criteria, we would still love to hear from you. If you’re passionate, driven, and believe you can contribute to our future success, we encourage you to apply.

Please note: Employment is conditional upon having the legal right to work in the UK for the role offered.
