We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Porter/Concierge to join a prestigious residential development in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with high-end residential or luxury hotel experience to become a key part of a team committed to delivering exceptional service standards.

Location: Cambridge, CB5

Hours: Monday to Friday: 7am-3pm or 2pm-10pm (Weekly Rota)

Salary: £25,570

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm, welcoming, and professional front-of-house service to residents and visitors.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to resident queries, maintenance requests, and complaints—escalating to the Building or Estate Manager as needed.
  • Monitor and manage parcel deliveries, ensuring residents are promptly notified.
  • Maintain security protocols by conducting regular site patrols, monitoring CCTV, and verifying IDs of visitors and contractors.
  • Keep all communal areas, particularly the concierge desk and front lobby, clean and presentable at all times.
  • Assist with routine system testing including fire alarms and emergency lighting.
  • Offer residents local area information and recommendations.
  • Train and become certified as a Pool Responder to support the safe operation of on-site leisure facilities.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a high-end residential development or 4/5-star hotel is essential.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Professional, proactive, and committed to delivering a high standard of service.
  • Attention to detail with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Health & Safety awareness (qualifications advantageous).
  • Must be able to swim (Pool Responder training will be provided).
