Hours/Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
What You'll Be Doing:
- Keeping estate areas clean, tidy, and hazard‑free at all times
- Conducting regular site walkarounds to identify and report issues
- Supporting minor maintenance tasks (e.g. adjusting doors, handles, hinges)
- Litter picking and cleaning hard‑landscaped external areas
- Assisting with refuse movement and ensuring bin stores are accessible and clean
- Managing and maintaining car parks and cycle stores
- Supporting soft landscaping duties such as watering, leaf and weed removal
- Assisting with system testing (e.g. emergency lighting, fire alarms, smoke vents)
- Monitoring mechanical and electrical plant equipment and communal heating systems
- Overseeing the Building Management System
- Supporting contractor sign‑in/out and ensuring Health & Safety compliance
- Providing basic security support including CCTV monitoring and visitor badge control
- Checking contractor IDs/work permits and enforcing site discipline when needed
- Assisting with parking management and safeguarding
What You'll Bring:
- Background in cleaning, gardening, or minor maintenance
- Practical experience in trades such as plumbing, fencing, or small works
- Good standard of education
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual duties
- Comfortable using a smartphone for work‑related tasks
- Able to complete routine forms and documentation
- Friendly and polite with good social skills
- Punctual, reliable, and able to follow structured routines
