Are you a hands-on, proactive individual with a passion for maintaining high standards? We're seeking a Mobile Cleaning & Gardening Operative to join our established team in Cambridge. This is a mobile role covering multiple prestigious sites, offering the opportunity to make a real impact in the local community while taking pride in your work.

Role Overview

  • Annual Salary: £28,000
  • Location: Cambridge area (mobile role)
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
  • Requirments: Full UK Driving License essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Lawn care and grass cutting
  • Regular weeding, including weed-killing treatments
  • Seasonal pruning, deadheading, and maintaining plant beds
  • General caretaking tasks such as cleaning and light maintenance
  • Litter picking and leaf removal
  • Testing emergency lighting and fire alarm systems (training provided)
  • Conducting Planned Maintenance activities (e.g., light switch checks, lamp replacements)

While previous caretaking experience is not essential, a background in caretaking, cleaning, or similar roles would be advantageous. We’re seeking someone who:

  • Is self-motivated and takes pride in delivering excellent results
  • Enjoys working outdoors and being active
  • Values contributing to the community through their work
  • Full UK Driving License is essential for this role
