Join Our Team as a Residential Hospitality & Lounge Host in London! Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service? Do you enjoy making a difference in people's day-to-day lives? We are looking for a Host to join our team at a high-end development in London. Within this development, the 250+ occupants have access to this development's private Bar & Lounge area. We're looking for a proactive individual to join our dynamic team and manage this unique resident facility. If you’re committed to maintaining high standards and resolving issues efficiently, this role is perfect for you.

About the Position

  • Location: EC1V
  • Annual Salary: £31,932
  • Hours/Working Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 11am‑11pm

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lounge Host: Managing the residents lounge area where the club desk is situated. Taking payments, stock taking, serving a variety of drinks and overall management of the Club Lounge.
  • Welcome and Assist: Greet residents and visitors warmly, making them feel at home.
  • Problem-Solving: Address issues promptly, from maintenance to emergencies, and elevate concerns as needed.
  • Maintain Presentation: Keep the concierge area and lobby looking presentable.
  • Safety Checks: Looking out for H&S hazards on site patrol, assist with fire alarm, emergency lighting, and smoke vent testing.
  • Local Knowledge: Offer advice and recommendations about the local area to enhance residents’ experience.

Every member of staff on this development is required to be a swimming pool first responder. So, while the likelihood of needing this training is small, the successful applicant must be willing to undergo this training (this will be paid for).

What You'll Bring

  • Experience working in Food & Beverage/Hospitality industry is essential.
  • Experience as a concierge is a plus, but a strong customer service or security background is equally valued.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Health & safety qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to handle responsibilities with care.
