We’re seeking a dedicated Estate & Minor Maintenance Operative to join Encore at one of our established developments in North West London. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping sites well‑maintained, safe, and welcoming.
Role Overview
- Location: London, NW9
- Hours: Mon‑Fri, 08:00‑16:00
- Salary: £26,936
Key Responsibilities
- General maintenance tasks (e.g., changing lightbulbs and lamps)
- Caretaking and gardening duties to keep the site in top condition
- Minor Maintenance Tasks (Painting, Equipment upkeep and other minor repairs/works)
- Cleaning communal areas and facilities
- Emergency system testing, such as fire alarms and emergency lighting
- Managing bin stores and car park monitoring
- CCTV surveillance and monitoring
- Operating site machinery and programming fob access control systems (full training provided)
What We’re Looking For
While previous experience in cleaning or security is advantageous, it’s not essential. We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in Plumbing, Electrics, Carpentry or General Handyperson work.
- Lives within a 45‑minute commute of the site
- Is comfortable using IT systems to log and track jobs or issues
- Has a proactive, can‑do attitude and values attention to detail
