Join our team as an Assistant Operations Manager at Encore. Our Operations team specialises in the management and provision of soft facilities services across a portfolio of highly prestigious residential and commercial estates. Operations provides operational and line management support for the siteâbased teams providing highâend residential services and compliance.
Location & Working Hours
- Location: London (Mixture of Office, Home and Onâsite working required)
- Annual Salary: ÂŁ36,000
- Hours / Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 amâ5:00 pm & Friday 8:30 amâ4:30 pm (Other hours may be required depending on business needs)
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist the Operations Manager in leading siteâbased teams, ensuring high standards and consistent service delivery across multiple estates.
- Help implement policies and procedures to maintain a 5âstar approach, oversee rotas, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Support budget monitoring, cost control, and help achieve annual financial targets.
- Assist with recruitment, training, and development of staff, conducting appraisals and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, handle queries and complaints professionally, and ensure service level agreements are met or exceeded.
- Help mobilise new sites, ensuring SOPs are implemented, equipment and systems are in place, and compliance is maintained.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, service quality, and profitability through innovative solutions and best practices.
- Prepare and contribute to monthly reports demonstrating service performance, compliance, and budget control.
- Act as a point of escalation for operational issues and assist in resolving challenges quickly and effectively.
- Willingness to undertake an IWFM (or equivalent) qualification and further qualifications to support the practical experiences that will be gained in the role.
What You'll Bring
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar Health & Safety qualification (required).
- Experience in facilities or operational management is desirable.
- Strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel essential); experience with FM software is desirable.
- A positive, canâdo attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
