Role Details
- Location: London, SW15
- Annual Salary:£26,000
- Hours/Working Pattern:7:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday
What You’ll Be Doing
Daily Duties:
- Empty rubbish bins and recycling bags, preparing waste for removal.
- Keep front entrances spotless.
- Monitor and report lighting faults in common areas (inside and out).
- Check riser cupboards are secure.
- Keep an eye on external downpipes and refer any issues.
- Ensure doors close properly and arrange repairs as needed.
- Report any leaks, defective intercoms, or other maintenance needs.
- Keep the compactor area clean and tidy.
Twice Weekly (Tuesdays & Fridays):
- Vacuum communal stairs and landings.
- Wash entrance halls using proper safety signage.
Monthly Tasks:
- Inspect and clean tank rooms, balconies, and communal lighting.
- Make sure the compactor area is always in tip-top shape.
What You\’ll Bring
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communicator – you’ll be reporting issues to the Estate Office and Compliance & H&S team.
- Physically fit and happy working both indoors and out.
- Proactive attitude with a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience in estate, facilities or building management is a plus, but not essential – training can be provided.
