We’re looking for an experienced Development Manager to oversee the smooth operation of a high end residential development based in Watford. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality living environment for residents while maintaining the property to the highest standards.

Previous experience in a large high end residential development is essential for this role.

Role Overview

As the Development Manager, you will take full responsibility for both developments, including but not limited to:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service to residents and visitors.
  • Managing and supporting site-based staff.
  • Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, including contractor management.
  • Ensuring communal areas are impeccably maintained and presented.
What You’ll Do

Building Management

  • Conduct regular inspections of communal areas, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and safety.
  • Manage contractors, approve and assess maintenance work, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Coordinate planned maintenance, ensuring timely execution to required standards.
  • Manage stock levels for day-to-day items and facilitate meter readings for communal utilities.
  • Oversee or conduct system tests, including emergency lighting, fire alarms, and lift emergency lines.
  • Monitor parking compliance and address related issues.
  • Provide input for budgets, residents’ meetings, and communication with directors.
