Zenith Energy are working with our E&P Operator client on a long term contract position. Provision of completion design, planning, programming, and operations management across operated portfolio, promoting techniques and strategies that optimise asset value and enhance life of well performance. Targets efforts to ensure that all wells are designed and delivered in accordance with local statutory requirements corporate policies, standards, and procedures, whilst driving excellence in Health, Safety and Environmental performance, technological innovation, and continuous performance improvement. Mentoring of Completion Engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting planning, readiness and operations on development projects across several assets, platform and subsea.
  • Prepare all well completions, workover and well-service programmes in compliance with local statutory requirements and corporate policies, standards and procedures.
  • Manage the well planning process as per the Well Delivery Process (WDP) and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare scopes of work and appropriate specifications for procurement of equipment and services.
  • Prepare scoping, budgetary and AFE level completion costs.
  • Monitor field costs and analyse variances.
  • Monitor and measure performance against expectations. Analyse variances and act as a focal point for lessons learned.
  • Effective liaison and communication with the subsurface and drilling & wells management teams.
  • Implementation of lessons learned system and championing of all performance improvement initiatives applicable to well completions performance.
  • Maintenance and up‑dating of completions, workover and well‑services documentation and data.
  • Implementation of additional processes/procedures applicable to completion operation improvement.
  • Mentoring of Completion Engineers.

Competences / Qualifications / Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Drilling Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or similar.
  • HPHT experience is desired.
  • Extensive relevant experience in completion, well test, workover engineering and site supervision.
  • IWCF Well Control Certification.
