We’re looking for a really creative and passionate streetwear and all-round designer to take the helm on several in-house projects / collaboration brands that our client is bringing to market. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious person to join a fast-paced and fast-growing company.
The successful applicant will be working as part of a close-knit team, working with some of the country’s largest and most influential retailers and directional streetwear customers on varied product areas. Office based role in a Manchester city centre office.
The Role:
- To take the lead on creatives for several brands / brand partnerships
- Work between Director and the brand partners
- Create direction for upcoming seasonal drops
- Design multi product collections
- Work with tech team to allocate size specs / create fits as needed
- Brief collections out to suppliers and follow up sample development with Account Manager
- Review samples on receipt and issue comments to suppliers
- Attend trade shows / research trips
- Visit suppliers as needed and within comfort level of applicant
- Visit customers as needed to hold development meetings and sample reviews
About you:
- Must be passionate and driven to succeed, with a strong work ethic.
- Able to work as part of a team and share ideas / present to the wider team and customers.
- Previous experience is essential along with knowledge of and experience liaising with various customers and factories.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Good commercial perspective & creativity skills.
- Strong organizational & time management skills.
- Flexible and open to evolving business needs and priorities.
- Keen fashion interest
