As a Property Administrator – at Encore we call them Assistant Property Managers – you will be a key member of our Estate Management team, helping to ensure that our communities are well‑maintained and efficiently run. Your role will contribute directly to creating a positive experience for our clients. This role comes with fantastic career growth opportunities, including the chance to step into a Property Manager position within our team in just 12 to 18 months.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Customer Service: Be the first point of contact for residents, handling queries, resolving issues, and keeping communication clear, friendly, and professional.
  • Data Management: Keep the property management system (Qube) fully up‑to‑date, ensuring all information is accurate and organised.
  • Maintenance Coordinator: Liaise with contractors, manage work orders, and ensure everything is done on time and to a high standard.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure all health & safety legislation and company policies are strictly followed, keeping our estates safe and compliant.
  • Financial: Help manage budgets, issue purchase orders, and assist with financial reporting to keep costs under control.

What You’ll Bring

  • A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset – approaching challenges with optimism and a focus on finding effective resolutions.
  • Strong attention to detail – consistently delivering high‑quality work.
  • A collaborative spirit – thriving in a team environment and taking pride in contributing to shared goals.
  • Experience with systems like databases (Qube knowledge is a bonus) and confident use of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with contractors and managing reactive maintenance (or the readiness to learn fast).
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with residents and clients.
  • Excellent multitasking and time‑management skills.
  • Good communication skills – clear and professional over the phone, in writing, or face‑to‑face.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A good standard of education is essential.
  • Property qualifications (e.g., IRPM Part 1) would be an advantage but are not essential.
  • Previous experience in customer service and contractor management is desirable.
