Encon Staffing Associates are currently working with a fantastic Tier 1 national construction company who are looking to add to their team a senior site manager/project manager on a spearhead project. As a Project Manager, you will work closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor and Senior Project Manager, providing the necessary input to allow the Quantity Surveyor to report on the current and projected financial status of the project. Helping develop the project's main logic of works programme, ensure that no work commences on site until health and safety policy and the relevant construction phase plan is in place.
Duties:
- Develop Method Statements and Risk Assessments together with the Safety Plan and to observe the requirement of the CDM Regulations in the status of Principal Contractor.
- Provide leadership and support to all Employees.
- Manage labour and maintain high productivity.
- Expedite materials and information release from design team.
- Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Procedure and Manual.
- Manage all sub-contractors and supply chain effectively.
- Supervise the quality of the works and hand over a snag free building.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 6/7 or Degree level qualified in Construction or Civil Engineering OR have a trade background within construction.
- CSCS Card Black, SMSTS, First Aid, UK Drivers License.
- Experience working on a Hospital or other similar project from conception to hand over that included managing and dealing with the public, client, contractors and sub-contractors.
Contract: This is a temp to perm contract, working through Encon Staffing as a contractor for 3 months, the client then has the option to offer a permanent position for the right person.
