Encon Staffing are currently recruiting an experienced Demolition Site Manager. Our client is entering the next phase of demolition works on a major project in Bishopton, PA7 and are seeking an experienced Demolition Manager to support and help deliver this high-profile project. This is a fixed-term role of up to six months, starting this month, with responsibility for the day-to-day management of a section of demolition works. You will oversee the safe demolition of concrete structures up to 15 metres in height and lead a site team of approximately 20 operators and operatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of demolition activities on site
- Planning, sequencing, and supervising demolition works safely and efficiently
- Managing and coordinating site teams, plant, and resources
- Producing and implementing demolition method statements and risk assessments
- Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and site-specific requirements
- Liaising with project management, site stakeholders, and subcontractors
Essential Requirements
- CCDO-accredited demolition qualification suitable for managing and supervising demolition works (concrete structures)
- Valid CCDO Manager or Supervisor card
- SMSTS
- Proven experience producing demolition method statements and risk assessments
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation within demolition
- Demonstrable experience managing and coordinating site teams
- Ability to plan and sequence demolition works effectively and safely
Desirable / Additional Skills
- Temporary Works awareness or Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) experience
- Ecological awareness, with experience managing ecological constraints on live projects
