The predicted salary is between 45000 - 55000 £ per year.

The successful candidate will be based within commutable reach of Bradford. Management of property related assets, leading a small team, proactive management for planned maintenance, cyclical work and the delivery of refurbishment projects. Ensuring the effective delivery of asset management and related activities in line with approved budgets and programmes, and to the required standards.

You will manage the leasehold portfolio and take a leading role in identifying and acquiring leased properties and other new stock to meet defined business needs. You will be encouraged to contribute to the Group's new-build development programmes.

The following experience is preferably required:

  • Leadership and line management experience
  • A demonstrable record of experience in property related asset management
  • Demonstrable record of Project Management experience
  • Experience of procurement in an asset management environment
  • Experience in procuring, awarding and managing building contracts
  • A demonstrable record of managing compliance within HSE guidance and relevant legislation
  • Skilled contract negotiator
  • Experience in budget management, financial control and reporting
  • A relevant construction and/or property management qualification(s) and evidence of continuous professional development in a related role
  • Ability to work within our values and behaviour

Desirable experience:

  • Social Housing Provider experience
  • Membership of a professional body (i.e. RICS, CIOB, CIH)
  • A health & safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH) would be advantageous

This role requires a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle that can be insured for business use. The successful applicant must already possess the right to work in the UK or be able to secure the right to work in the UK independently.
