A gentleman living at home in Hawick, is looking for an experienced and patient support worker to offer him some support in the evening to prepare a meal and prompt with medication, and once a week help with a morning shower visit.
Terms:
- Hours of work: 50 per week as listed below:
Teatime Visit (15 mins per day) 7 days
Morning Shower visit (30 mins per week) 1 day per week
- £14.05 per hour.
- Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
- Probationary period of 6 months
- Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership
Job Description
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- To support client to ensure their safety and well-being.
- To support with personal care routine as/when required.
- To support with general care needs including:
- Personal care assistance, medication prompts
- Meal and drink preparation.
- To develop a positive relationship with the client and work as part of a team.
