A lady living in Tweedbank who is bedbound due to several conditions urgently requires an experienced personal assistant to join her small team working a variety of shifts. Shifts/days can be chosen to suit the PA.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- The visits currently being made are:
- 8am – 9 am for 1 hour
- 10am – 11.30 am for 30 mins
- Mid-afternoon for 30 mins
- 6pm – 6.45pm for 45 mins
- Evenings for 45 mins
Daily you will be required to:
- Re-position the client
- Prompt and offer medication
- Prompt client to check blood glucose levels
- Provide hot and cold drinks and snacks
- Carry out personal care duties and empty catheter bag
- Prepare and serve meals
