A gentleman living in the outskirts of Fountainhall is looking for Personal Assistants to assist with daily care needs. Support with personal care in the mornings and evenings, as well as support with meal preparation at lunchtime, is required to ensure he can continue to live in his own home as safely and efficiently as possible.

Terms

  • Hours per week: 10.00 Hours
  • Morning visit – (30 mins per day) x 6 days
  • Lunch Visit – (30 mins per day) x 7 days
  • Evening Visit – (30 mins per day) x 7 days
  • £14.65 per hour plus 45p per mile also paid for travel
  • Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
  • Probationary period of 6 months
  • Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership

Job Description Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • To support client to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • To support with morning and evening personal care routine as/when required.
  • To support with general care needs including:
    • Personal care assistance, medication prompts
    • Meal and drink preparation
    • Assist with toileting support during visits
  • To develop a positive relationship with the client and work as part of a team.
