I’m an 8-year-old boy living in Jedburgh with my family. I’m looking for someone kind, fun, and engaging to support me during weekends and school holidays. I have a learning disability and, although i am pre verbal, I’m very good at expressing my needs and preferences. I’d really enjoy spending time with someone who can help me make the most of my weekends and school breaks
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal person would be able to support me in activities such as soft play, visits to the beach, park outings etc they will also be a patient, caring, and full of energy. It is essential you are attentive and safety-conscious, always aware of surroundings and my needs. A fun-loving and supportive nature is essential, helping to make each activity enjoyable while encouraging independence. You will be reliable, adaptable to different situations and a genuine enthusiasm for making a positive impact are also highly valued.
HOURS OF WORK
I have 7.5 hours a week to use either weekends or school holidays.
We are very flexible around day/times
The Terms
- £13.20 per hour;
- Social mileage will be paid at 45p per mile;
- 5.6 weeks annual leave, calculated on a pro‑rata basis.
- Drivers are preferred with business insurance due to location
