I’m a friendly, chatty young gentleman who lives in Galashiels with a mild learning/physical disability that requires me to be in a wheelchair. I’m looking for a PA for daily morning, lunchtime, teatime and bedtime visits when I’m at home, but I also like to go for days out/weekends away, so I need someone to support me with personal care and keep me safe, whilst encouraging as much independence as possible. This can be a job share between PAs or one PA, hours can be made full time. Main tasks and responsibilities * Support to get up, showered/washed/dried and dressed * Support with toileting * Prep and serve breakfast/lunch/dinner * Support with bedtime clothing/personal care * Escorted to appointments * I also would like a PA to escort me to activities as and when needed * Driver as I have a mobility car Personal attributes * Kind and caring with a good sense of humour * Patient and friendly * Practical and a good communicator * Trustworthy and reliable * Driving Licence essential * Experience with moving and handling or willingness to learn Hours * Blocks of hours for personal care, activities, W/Ends away, Days Out, etc. * Times are flexible and can be discussed with suitable candidates The terms * £14.60 per hour * Expenses paid when out with the client * 5.6 weeks annual leave on a pro rata basis * PVG/References Required #J-18808-Ljbffr
