A kind, dependable and compassionate Personal Assistant is required to support an elderly lady living in Darnick who has dementia and benefits from the support of a close family network. This role involves providing morning assistance with personal care, medication prompts, and support with preparing food and drinks, helping to promote comfort, wellbeing, independence at home, and reduce the risk of infection through good hygiene and personal care routines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support with personal care, including assistance with stoma care
- Assist with washing, showering, hair washing, and drying to maintain comfort, hygiene, and reduce the risk of infection
- Support with dressing in clean clothing
- Prompt and assist with taking prescribed medication
- Prepare food, snacks, and drinks, ensuring good hydration and nutrition
- Encourage independence and dignity wherever possible
The successful applicant will be:

- Experienced in stoma care, or willing to undertake training

Weekend mornings (flexible): Saturday and Sunday, ideally 9:00am – 12:00pm (3 hours per day)
Terms£20.00 per hour, 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata), PVG check and references required prior to employment.
