I am a young girl with Autism, living at home with my Mum in Peebles. I am looking for someone to come and spend a few hours with me each week to allow my Mum a break. Ideally from 2:00pm to 4:30pm once or twice a week.
Activities and supervision:
- I like to go for walks or to the park or would be happy to stay at home and bake or do some crafts.
- I need to be watched at all times, to reduce the risk of any harm – I really need someone who will take good care of me so that my Mum can relax and have a proper break, in the knowledge that I am being properly cared for.
What we’re looking for:
- I would like someone who is kind, caring and fun.
- Preferably someone who has experience of working with children with Autism but really my Mum is looking for the right person, over experience.
Pay and leave:
- Hourly rate is £13.20 and you will be entitled to 5.6 weeks’ annual leave.
