I am an elderly lady with Dementia, living at home in Peebles. I am looking for one or two people to come and join my team to support me at home with twice daily visits to ensure my safety and wellbeing.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Morning – 30 minutes at around 9:30am: Mornings are for a medication prompt but please also ensure I have a positive start to my day. Please provide emotional support and psychological reassurance to help reduce any feelings of frustration or agitation. I am a sociable lady who enjoys company so having a nice positive chat in the morning will really set me up for the day.
  • Teatime – 30 minutes at around 6:30pm: Please come and prompt me to take my medication from my blister pack. Please provide emotional support and reassurance to help reduce any feelings of frustration or agitation. I am a sociable lady who enjoys company so having someone come chat with me whilst I have my evening meal would be lovely for me.
