We are looking for a reliable, warm, and proactive individual to join our small, dedicated team. You will be supporting a young gentleman who has learning disabilities & dementia. The gentleman lives at home with his supportive parents, and your role will support him to stay as independent as possible and participate in social activities he enjoys.
The Role
- This is a part-time position involving:
- Evening Visits (Mon-Sun): Supporting with wind-down routines, personal care and companionship.
- Alternate Weekends: Morning, social visits/outings and evening support.
- Independence: Assisting with daily activities and social engagement.
- Collaboration: Working as part of a small, friendly team to ensure high-quality and consistent care.
- Consistent Schedule: A regular Rota to help you balance your work and personal life.
- Flexibility: Exact hours can be flexible and will be discussed with successful candidates to find a pattern that works for everyone.
- Supportive Environment: No 'rushing', you will have the time to build a genuine bond with this gentleman in a stable home setting.
Personal Attributes
- A caring, patient, and sociable personality.
- Experience in social care or supporting individuals with disabilities is desirable.
- Reliability and good communication skills are a must.
- Clean driving license and own car is an advantage.
