The predicted salary is between 14.05 - 14.05 £ per hour.
A lovely older lady living at home in Eckford requires a PA to provide support while her daughter takes a break from her caring role. She has macular degeneration, peripheral neuropathy and her mobility is very poor so cannot be left alone.
3 hours per week to be used flexibly, preferably on a Saturday or Sunday though days and times can be arranged between PA and the family. Support may be required to prepare and assist with a light lunch or evening meal with possible medication prompting depending on the time of the support. Sitting with her and watching quiz shows or having a chat, ensuring she is safe while daughter is out. A car driver is preferred due to location though as this lady will not require assistance to access the community it is not essential. The family have a very friendly dog so animal lovers are preferred.
Terms:
- Hours per week: 3 hours (flexible)
- Hours of work: preferably on a Saturday or Sunday though days and times can be agreed.
- £14.05 per hour.
- Mileage up to 0.45p to/from clients home to be discussed
- Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
- Probationary period of 6 months
- Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- To support client to ensure their safety and well-being.
- To support with personal care needs if required
- To support with general care needs when required including:
- Medication prompts
- Support to provide meals and hot drinks
- To develop a positive relationship with the client and her family.
