I’m an elderly lady with dementia who lives in Kelso. I want to stay in my own home and remain independent. I’m looking for friendly PAs to come in 7 days per week, to check in on me and assist and encourage me with personal care, daily tasks, food prep, etc. Initially it will be building up the trust between us so I’m comfortable with you helping me.
Terms:
- Hours per week: 19.25 Hours
- Hours of work:
- Morning visit – (1 hour per day)
- Lunch Visit – (30 mins per day)
- Tea Visit – (30 mins per day)
- Evening Visit (45 mins per day)
- £14.05 per hour.
- Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
- Probationary period of 6 months
- Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership
Job Description Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- To support client to ensure their safety and well-being.
- To support with personal care routine as/when required.
- To support with general care needs including:
- Personal care assistance, and incontinence care management
- Meal and drink preparation.
- To develop a positive relationship with the client and work as part of a team.
