A gentleman in Kelso is looking for a personal assistant to help ensure all his personal care needs are met in a safe and efficient manner. Support with morning and evening personal care routine in particular and also catheter care management.
Terms
- Hours per week: Every second weekend – 2 hours Saturday and 2 hours Sunday.
- Hours of work: Morning visit – 9.00am – 10am, Evening visit – 8.30pm – 9.30pm.
- £14.05 per hour.
- Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata.
- Probationary period of 6 months.
- Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership.
Job Description Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- To support client to ensure their safety and well-being.
- To support with personal care routine as/when required.
- To support with general care needs including:
- Personal care assistance, medication prompts.
- Meal and drink preparation.
- Catheter care management.
