A lady living in Kelso is seeking reliable and compassionate Personal Assistants to provide daily support within her home. This role involves structured visits throughout the day, supporting with personal care and daily living tasks to ensure comfort, dignity and wellbeing. All visits are provided as double-ups, and a tracking hoist system is in place to support safe moving and handling.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care including showering and washing
  • Support with feeding and mealtime assistance
  • Administer and prompt medication in line with guidance
  • Assist with safe moving and handling using a tracking hoist system (training can be provided)
  • Support with general household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
  • Work collaboratively as part of a double-up care arrangement
  • Promote dignity, respect and independence at all times

Terms

  • Hours: Tuesday – Friday: 12:00pm – 12:45pm, Monday – Friday: 4:30pm – 5:15pm
  • Rate of Pay: £14.55 per hour
  • Holiday Entitlement: 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
  • Probationary Period: 6 months
  • Appointment: Subject to references and PVG / Disclosure Scotland check
