An opportunity has arisen due to illness that I am seeking someone to help a fun loving lady living with MS, wheelchair and stand air user, very active with horseracing, dog walking, social activities & charity work.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care support for a wheelchair and stand air user;
- Assist with mobility and handling tasks;
- Support daily activities including dog walking, social events and charity work;
- Assist with medication reminders and health monitoring;
- Maintain a supportive and humorous environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Reliable, trustworthy, with a good sense of humour;
- Clean driving licence (mandatory);
- Prior care experience is an advantage but not essential – training in moving & handling will be provided;
- Ability to work flexible hours during weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) starting at 9am.
Terms
- Hours: up to 22 hours per week
- Working Pattern: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Rate of Pay: £14.85 per hour
- Holiday Entitlement: 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
- Probationary Period: 6 months
- Appointment: Subject to satisfactory references and PVG / Disclosure Scotland check
