A lovely, elderly couple who live at home in Innerleithen are seeking support from a Personal Assistant/a couple of Personal Assistants to support them on a daily basis. The role would involve supporting the couple with up to two support visits each day to assist with medication and meals as well as some continence management whilst allowing her to maintain as much independence as possible.
Terms
- Hours per week: Up to 8.75 hours
- Hours of work: (flexibility considered):
- Morning: 45‑minute visit around 8.00am
- Tea time visit: 30‑minute visit around 4/4.30pm
Requirements: Post subject to satisfactory references and PVG Scheme membership
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Support the client’s personal care needs, including:
- Support to empty commode and manage any continence care as required
- Assist with general care tasks, including:
- Help to make the bed
- Support with medication administration
- Assistance to make breakfast, leave something for lunch and heat up an evening meal.
