We are 4 siblings, all with profound learning disabilities who live at home in Innerleithen with our family. We are looking for someone to join our team and help for around 20 hours a week. Hours are 7 on a Monday, 7 on a Tuesday and 6 on a Friday.
On a Monday we go to play Boccia which is a sport similar to bowls, on a Tuesday we like to go walks or to the cinema, just anything fun and then on a Friday we like to go outdoor bowling if the weather allows, if not again, something fun – we like to keep as active as possible but also don’t mind a bit of downtime/chill time.
There may be some personal care involved but it will mainly be to spend time with us and ensure our safety. You must be kind, caring and reliable. You must also be able to have fun, all the while ensuring we are safe and well looked after.
Hourly rate is £14.95 and you will also be entitled to 5.6 weeks annual leave, calculated on a pro-rata basis.
