A gentleman in Hawick is looking for support and assistance with carrying out his morning personal care routine and also assistance in the afternoon, to prepare and serve a meal, safely and efficiently.
Terms:
- Hours per week: 4.5 hours plus an additional 4 hours to cover emotional/social support
- Hours of work: Morning visit – (1 hour per day) Monday, Wednesday, Thursday; Afternoon visit – (30 mins per day) Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; 4 hours emotional/social support times to be discussed with client
- £14.05 per hour
- Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
- Probationary period of 6 months
- Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership
Job Description Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- To support client to ensure their safety and well-being.
- To support with morning personal care routine and showering.
- To support with daily general care needs including meal and drink preparation.
- Assistance to and from the toilet as and when required.
- To develop a positive relationship with the client and work as part of a team.
