A lady with MS living in Burnfoot area of Hawick is looking to employ Personal Assistants to help with a variety of tasks and day to day living. The role requires significant attention to detail and compassion, providing both practical assistance with household chores and personal care tasks. It will include support during daytime, bedtime, and weekend hours. The ideal candidates for this role will be patient, understanding, and capable of carrying out a variety of tasks.
You must be available for work throughout the year, including school holidays and bank holidays. Evening and weekend shifts are also required.
While care qualifications are an advantage, training will be provided as and when required. A clean driving license would be beneficial as the lady has an adaptive vehicle which takes her Powerchair. Candidates would assist in taking her to recreational and social outings and other appointments. As part of a supportive team, punctuality and reliability are essential for ensuring the continuity and quality of care which significantly impacts her daily life.
