A lovely lady with Parkinson’s disease, living at home in Hawick, is looking for someone to assist and support her with personal care in the morning and evening, considerately prompting throughout. The role would be perfect for someone who is patient, friendly, and understanding to allow time to mobilise safely and slowly.
Terms
- Hours per week: 10.5 Hours
- Hours of work: Morning visit – (45 mins per day), Evening visit – (30 mins per day)
- £14.05 per hour
- Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
- Probationary period of 6 months
- Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership
Job Description Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- To support client to ensure their safety and well-being.
- To support with morning and evening personal care routine as/when required.
- To support with general care needs including:
- Showering, dressing
- Medication prompts
- Catheter care management
- To develop a positive relationship with the client and work as part of a team.
