A lovely elderly lady living at home in Hawick is looking for an experienced and patient support worker to join her small team to offer her some support in the evening to help with personal care needs and getting ready for bed.
Terms:
- Hours per week: 5.25 hours
- Hours of work: 45-minute evening visit daily
- £13.20 per hour
- Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
- Probationary period of 3 months
- Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership
Job Description Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- To support client to ensure their safety and well-being within their home.
- To support with personal care needs and getting ready for bed.
- Making sure all lights, TV etc. are switched off for the evening before bed.
- To maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the client’s equipment and surroundings.
- To develop a positive relationship with the client and her family.
