Gentleman in Hawick requires care and companionship from a Care Worker to help him achieve as full and safe a life as possible. In addition to this, to ensure that the Client’s mother has adequate respite. He is currently looking for an additional support worker to join his team.

- Hours of work: days and hours to be discussed with potential applicants
- £13.20 per hour
- Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
- Probationary period of 6 months
- Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership
Job Description Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- To support client to ensure their safety and well-being.
- To support with personal care routine as/when required.
- Providing emotional and social support.
- To develop a positive relationship with the client and work as part of a team.
Personal Attributes:
- To uphold the wishes, choices and preferences of the client at all times.
- Good communicator, motivated, enthusiastic with a kind and caring personality.
- To promote, encourage and assist the client to maintain their individual skills, interests and activities.
- Also discussing new activities that the client may enjoy.
- Physically active and able to push a wheelchair.
- Ideally experienced in working with people who have memory loss or dementia.
Skills and Experience:
