An enthusiastic and compassionate Personal Assistant is required to provide support for 2 hours per week to care for a 12-year-old girl, allowing her mother to get respite from her caring role and support her in managing her Autism and care needs.

Terms

  • Hours per week: 2 hours which can be negotiable
  • £14.05 per hour
  • Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
  • Probationary period of 6 months
  • Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • To support the client to help ensure their safety and well-being.
  • To support with any care needs related to her medical conditions.
  • To support with general care needs such as meal planning and preparation.
  • To develop a positive relationship with the client and her family.
  • To interact with the client and keep them entertained with activities they enjoy, supporting them in the local community if/when required.
