I am a gentleman with a frontal lobe brain injury and PTSD who lives in Tweedbank with my wife. I’m looking for a companion to join my small team to escort me out and about to enjoy community based activities. I have a really creative side, and I build guitars, play music and am a keen golfer. I would like someone with similar hobbies to look after my wellbeing and keep me safe whilst encouraging as much independence as possible.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Encourage healthy eating options
- Ensure/prompt all correct medication has been taken
- Escort and support in the community to participate in activities
Personal attributes:
- Previous experience/background working with an individual with a frontal lobe brain injury or a willingness to become more informed
- Kind and empathetic

Hours of work (flexible):
5 hours per week. Times can be discussed with suitable candidates.

- 5.6 weeks annual leave on a pro rata basis
