I’m a fit elderly gentleman who lives in Galashiels with my wife; I’m her main caregiver so am looking for a companion to help me access activities and sport events that I enjoy in the local community. I suffer with a visual impairment so need someone to support and escort me when out and about.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Support/escort to activities
- Attending sports events together and discussing the state of play during the event
- Encourage conversations especially around sports and current affairs
