Job Description
- To support this gentleman to ensure their safety and well-being.
- To support with personal care needs, including catheter care.
- To maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the client’s equipment and surroundings.
- To develop a positive relationship with the gentleman and his family.
- To work alongside another member of the team when required but to work independently too.
Person Specification
Personal Attributes- Kind and caring, sensitive to the client’s needs.
- Patient, reliable and trustworthy.
- Ability to use your own initiative.
- A good communicator with a chatty, cheerful personality.
- Ability to work sensitively in a home setting respecting the client and family’s right to privacy and to maintain professional standards of confidentiality.
- Knowledge of moving and handling and first aid would be desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
- Experience is not essential for a candidate with the right personal attributes, but they should be able to show some suitability for the role.
- Due to the location, a driver would be essential for this role.
