A lovely elderly lady living at home in Eyemouth requires support from an experienced and patient support worker to join her small team for alternative weekends and holiday cover. The role would involve a couple of 30-minute visits daily to check that the lady has taken her medication or prompt her to do so, support to make and encouragement to eat a light meal, and offer a chat and some support and general reassurance if there is anything that is causing her any concern.
Terms
- Hours per week: At least 2 hours per fortnight
- Hours of work: up to 2 30-minute visits per day on alternative weekends plus holiday and sickness cover
- £13.20 per hour. Some travel allowance can be discussed.
- Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
- Probationary period of 6 months
- Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership
