The predicted salary is between 29000 - 30000 £ per year.

A lovely woman who lives at home within Eyemouth requires the support from a small team of PA’s to provide her with daily support. Due to her dementia diagnosis, she requires 3 short visits each day from someone who can support her preparing meals and encourage her to eat these and ensure she drinks enough fluids. This is particularly important due to her diabetes diagnosis.

Terms

  • Hours per week: Up to 3.5 hours per week (opportunity to cover other shifts too.)
  • Hours of work: 30-minute visits, morning, lunch and dinner Saturday and Sunday; 30-minute visit – Friday lunchtime
  • £14.05 per hour.
  • Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
  • Probationary period of 6 months

Requirements: Post subject to satisfactory references and PVG Scheme membership

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Provide personalised support with daily living activities to promote the client’s independence, including:
  • Support with meal and drink preparation
  • Encourage eating/drinking of prepared meals
  • Prompt with taking medication
  • Ensure the client’s safety, comfort, and overall wellbeing at all times
  • Build and maintain a positive, respectful, and trusting relationship with the client and her family
  • Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and high standards of conduct in all aspects of the role
