A kind and friendly Companion is sought to support a lady living in Galashiels who has an early diagnosis of Corticobasal Syndrome, a rare progressive neurological condition. She lives at home with her husband, and the role centres on providing companionship, reassurance, and positive social interaction. This is an opportunity to build a meaningful, trusting relationship while supporting her to stay connected and enjoy day‑to‑day life.
What the Role Involves
- Providing reassurance and a sense of safety
- Building a warm, trusting relationship over time
- Spending relaxed time together at home (chatting, light activities)
- Supporting gentle outings such as short drives, having a cuppa, or engaging in local activities
Hours
2 hours per week, flexible and agreed mutually.

- A driver with business insurance is preferred (to support outings)
Terms
