A friendly and cheerful Personal Assistant is required to support a lady in her 30s who lives at home in Coldstream. This role focuses on providing companionship, encouragement and practical support, helping her to build confidence in everyday activities, develop independent living skills, and enjoy social opportunities both at home and within the community. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting her wellbeing while helping her maintain an active and fulfilling routine.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and encouragement to promote confidence and independence
- Support the client to remain safe and comfortable at home and when out in the community
- Assist with developing daily living skills such as menu planning, cooking, shopping, ironing, and other basic household tasks
- Accompany the client to appointments, outings, and social activities
- Support with maintaining a tidy, comfortable home environment
- Build and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with the client and her family

Terms
- Hours: 5 hours per week, mainly at weekends (flexible and to be agreed with the employer)
- Rate of Pay: £14.55 per hour
- Holiday Entitlement: 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
- Probationary Period: 6 months
- Appointment: Subject to references and PVG / Disclosure Scotland check
